Invaded to Assimilate is a layered reflection on the fear of losing one’s cultural values, roots, and heritage while adapting to new cultural environments. The work confronts the emotional tension between preservation and survival—between holding onto what defines us and blending into what surrounds us. It captures the quiet struggle of identity under pressure, where assimilation feels less like a choice and more like a necessity, raising urgent questions about what is lost, what remains, and what is reshaped in the process of becoming.
