From Ghana to America traces the emotional and cultural journey across oceans and generations, from a personal narrative, ancestral roots to new beginnings. This work reflects on the legacy of migration—voluntary and forced—and the enduring ties between past and present. It explores identity shaped by movement, memory, and resilience, honoring the richness of Ghanaian heritage while navigating the complexities of life in America. Through this piece, I reflect on what is carried, what is lost, and what is continuously redefined in the journey of becoming.
