Me, Myself, I & The Chronicles of a “BEING” is a layered conversation exploring displacement, nostalgia, and the emotional labor of constantly rebuilding and reinventing oneself while settling overseas. The work reflects the quiet yet persistent journey of navigating identity in unfamiliar spaces—where the heart longs for home, even as the self is being reshaped by new realities. Central to the piece is the metaphor of architectural columns—structures that bear weight, provide stability, and hold space. These columns become symbolic of the emotional pillars we construct to support who we are becoming. Through this visual language, the work meditates on the strength it takes to remain grounded while continually evolving, and the beauty in building a self that stands firm, even far from home.
