This series explores the modularity of identity through ceramic forms inspired by traditional Ghanaian beadwork. Each stacked component acts as a vessel of memory—marking transitions, migrations, and layered cultural narratives. In their assembled state, these pieces speak to bodies in flux: hybrid, resilient, and constantly in formation. The title plays on the dual meanings of formation and information, suggesting that the sculptural process is not only structural but also archival. These works store gestures, textures, and traces—materializing the intangible weight of belonging, adaptation, and inherited memory. Through repetition, balance, and surface complexity, Forms ‘In’formation becomes both a personal archive and a collective topography of diasporic experience.
